Itinerary in Detail

This one of the Nepal’s easier and non-technical trekking peak lies in Langtang Region, in the north of Katmandu, offers the best alternate for those climbers who have been seeking the thrill of adventure beyond hiking. Prior climbing experience is not required though, previous outdoor experience and average level of fitness is recommended.

From Katmandu we drive to Syabru Bensi then walking through the dense forest and traditional ethnic settlements we reach the wonderful base camp of Yala peak, where the views of Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa

Maximum Altitude: 5732 m.

Best season: March – May & September - November

Itinerary
Days 01

Arrival in Kathmandu.
Upon arrival, receive and transfer to hotel.
Overnight: Hotel (3 stars) with Breakfast.

Day 02

Kathmandu:
Kathmandu city sightseeing tour. Evening, orientation briefing on trekking/climbing at hotel.
Overnight: Hotel (3 stars) with Breakfast.

Day 03

Drive about 8 hrs to Syabru (2200m). Overnight: camp.

Day 04

Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m)

Day 05

Trek to Langtang (3100m)

Day 06

Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3750m)

Day 07

Excursion to Tserko Ri (5033m)

Day 08

Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (4800m)

Day 09

Yala Peak summit (5732m) & back to Kyangjen Gompa

Day 10

Reserve day.

Day 11

Trek to Ghora Tabela (3050m)

Day 12

Trek to Syabru (2200m)

Day 13

Trek to Sing Gompa (3300m)

Day 14

Trek to Dhunche (1950m)

Day 15

From Dhunche drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 16

Kathmandu
Free day – optional sightseeing may be made in Kathmandu valley.
Overnight: Hotel (3 stars) with Breakfast.

Day 17

Transfer to airport, assistant for check-in for final departure.
